Join to apply for the Senior Business Analyst role at University of Canterbury . Te Ratonga Tautoko Hangarau | Digital Services. Located in Ōtautahi | Christchurch, Aotearoa | New Zealand. Full-time (37.5 hours per week). Fixed Term until December 2026.

You Will Do

As a Senior Business Analyst, you'll be both a team player and a coach—eliciting, analysing, and validating business needs for innovative projects. You\'ll work closely with Product Managers, delivery teams, and stakeholders to ensure solutions are fit-for-purpose and deliver real value.

You Will Focus On

• Creating effective communication and relationship-building with stakeholders across the University
• Gathering, analysing, and documenting business and technical requirements for digital solutions
• Facilitating workshops, meetings, and presentations with senior stakeholders
• Supporting the development and delivery of product roadmaps, business cases, and process models
• Championing continuous improvement, simplification, and DevSecOps practices

Mōu | Who You Are

You will have at least 10 years\' experience as a Business Analyst in IT with a commercial or private sector, hold a Bachelor\'s degree (NZQA Level 7) in IT, Computer Science, Software Engineering, or related field.
