Team Leader

A small, homely, purpose-built centre licenced for 30 tamariki.

Our centre is open from 8am to 4.30pm.

We currently have a team of 3 kaiako (you will be our 4th) and an administrator who work closely together to care for and educate our tamariki.

We pride ourselves on our natural environment and enjoy regular excursions within our community which fosters our tamariki to be explorers.

We have a diverse of tamariki and whanau and enjoy making them feel at home.We are looking for...A team leader to support our team in planning and curriculum processes, completing regulatory paperwork and ensuring the smooth day-to-day running of the centre.

Our new team leader will have excellent time management and communication skills to support and guide our enthusiastic young team.

They will be an honest, respectful team player who inspires excellence in others through fostering of their leadership skills.

You will be responsible and take ownership, understanding of parent's needs, and know how to have challenging conversations if needed.We offer...Full pay parity, 3 hours non-contact to complete individual planning and learning stories, as well as additional time for administrative tasks.

We have a sister centre just 3.5kms away where you will receive discounted childcare, if required.

You will have full access to PD through ECELU.The position is 33.5hrs, over 5 days (there may be a possibility for a slight increase).
