About the job
We are seeking a hands-on leader to supervise a team of Carpenter / Fabricators during the night shift, working with specialized machinery.
With the recent installation of our second production line, we are expanding our leadership team to meet increasing demand.
This is a permanent, full-time, night shift role and the roster and hours will be as follows : Sunday to Thursday, 2.30pm to midnight.
This role offers a competitive rate based on skills and experience.

What You'll Bring
At least 3 years of experience in a similar role, with production line management a plus.
Proven leadership skills, with a proactive and hands-on approach to team management.
Strong problem-solving ability, with a knack for finding innovative solutions.
Excellent time management and multitasking skills in a fast-paced environment.
Solid understanding of construction methodologies, including the ability to read and build from plans.
A commitment to health and safety, ensuring a safe and compliant workplace.
Preferred experience and qualifications
National Certificate in Carpentry or Frame and Truss Manufacturing is an advantage.
Familiarity with NZS 3604 : 2011 and a strong understanding of construction methodology.
Experience with lean manufacturing and continuous improvement principles is beneficial.
Hands-on experience with MiTek technology is highly desirable.
