Overview
The National Aquarium of New Zealand is looking for a motivated and people-focused Visitor Services Supervisor to join our team on a one-year fixed-term basis. Overseeing reception, admissions, retail, café, and event operations, you’ll play a key role in ensuring every guest enjoys an exceptional visit — from arrival to departure.
You’ll be a hands-on leader who thrives in a busy, visitor-facing environment. You’ll mentor staff, manage retail performance, and ensure smooth day-to-day operations, creating an atmosphere of excellence, teamwork, and care. What we Offer
This is a one year fixed-term opportunity working 35 hours per week over a 7 day operation (alternative weekend work essential). You will be based at the National Aquarium of New Zealand on Napier’s iconic Marine Parade.
The annual salary package for this role for 35 hours per week is between $64,100-$75,400 (including KiwiSaver), with the final offer depending on your skills and experience.
