The Data & Reporting Analyst works as part of the Reporting & Insights team within Insurance Operations.

This role is responsible for working with the Insurance Operations Leadership Team and Reporting & Insights Initiative Lead to understand their strategy, design / deliver analytical solutions and follow data governance practices to produce tangible value and meet their current and future needs.

What you'll do Work with the Reporting & Insights Initiative Lead to develop a roadmap aligned to the strategic priorities of Insurance Operations to enable reporting solutions to be delivered in an effective manner

Support the creation, co-ordination, facilitation and delivery of reporting solutions that enable visibility of business results and opportunities.

Conduct trend analysis / insights to identify potential problems.

Make suggestions to improve results, and help inform and influence business improvement, risk mitigation and decision making.

Develop and run reports aligned to business requirements, while working with external stakeholders to understand and overcome blockers and challenges associated with data sources.

Support activities to ensure the Operations team are effectively working towards data governance standards.

Assist with tracking and monitoring of the Insurance Operations FTE budget reconciliations What you'll bring 3+ years in a project / delivery orientated role, in an autonomous environment with a geographically dispersed team

3+ years working in financial services preferably insurance

Experience across Tableau, Power BI, Cognos, ThoughtSpot, Redshift (and / or other SQL based program) is highly regarded

Deep knowledge of end-to-end reporting / analytics

Have a good understanding of key source systems, such as ClaimsCentre, Protect etc.
