RoleYou will lead a team of HSE experts, ensuring the team develops capabilities and skills while supporting the business in the implementation of policies, practices and programs.

You will also showcase your expertise by driving behavioral change and HSE learning within the organization.

The work model for the role is : Hybrid.ResponsibilitiesServes as the primary HSE interface within the assigned area of responsibility and cultivates a high-performance culture with a strong focus on HSE.Supports line managers and supervisors in understanding obligations, liabilities and requirements.Ensures appropriate tools and measures are in place and used effectively, and reports HSE incidents.Reports on HSE performance and progress with respect to the Group objectives.Drives behavioral change and ensures HSE capabilities are optimized and aligned to standards and best practices.Qualifications for the roleBachelor's Degree in Engineering or equivalent qualification.Ability to demonstrate experience in managing Health, Safety, and Environment (HSE) through policies, standards, programs, and practices.Experience embedding an exemplary health and safety culture and a strong focus on the environment across the organization.Oversees HSE risk assessment conducted by line management and ensures all necessary preventive measures against identified hazards are implemented.Proficiency in English; knowledge of an additional Asia Pacific language is a plus.More about usABB's Distribution Solutions Division provides utility, industrial and commercial customers with safe, smart and sustainable technologies for the distribution of electricity.
