We’re seeking a high‑calibre, experienced finance professional to lead our Finance team. Reporting to the Chief Financial Officer (CFO), you’ll play a key role in supporting Council to achieve its vision of being Economically Progressive while ensuring Waipā remains an attractive, affordable, and well‑managed district for residents and businesses alike.

In this role, you will :

• Provide accurate, timely, and insightful financial support to enable effective decision‑making and service delivery.
• Oversee financial reporting, treasury management, system administration, and key control functions.
• Lead strategic and operational financial planning, ensuring sound financial management both short and long term.
• Manage the rating function in line with Council policy and legislative requirements.
• Champion a culture of financial and commercial awareness across the organisation.
