About The RoleWe have an exciting opportunity to join Ryman's Miriam Corban Retirement Village, in Henderson, Auckland as a Senior Lead Chef (Head Chef).

This is aFull-Timerole workingSunday to Thursday 0800 - 1700.In this role you will : Lead, motivate and inspire the kitchen and cafe team to deliver a dining experience that's 'good enough for mum or dad '.

Prepare delicious meals from our seasonal menus, rich in variety, flavour and nutrition.Develop menus and create specialty food for fine diningexperiences and functions.Manage rosters, support menu development, trial new recipes and cater to different dietary needs.Operate with health and safety as a key consideration at all times.About YouTo thrive in our supportive andrewardingenvironment you will have : Extensive experience as a Head Chef, leading a team and running a kitchen catering for large groups or functionsOutstanding communication skillswith a reliable, approachable and professional mannerHold a qualification in Cookery or equivalentAt Ryman, we support an environment where everyone feels welcome to be themselves.
