We are seeking a skilled curriculum designer for an 18-month fixed-term project to lead the creation of the Wilson Bay Campus curriculum.

You will design a comprehensive, progressive curriculum that :

• Connects students with real-world science in farming, aquaculture, and sustainability.
• Builds scientific literacy, inquiry skills, hands‑on problem‑solving, and outdoor capability.
• Develops leadership, teamwork, and responsibility through collaborative, cross‑age projects.
• Fosters belonging and highlights pathways into primary industries.

The curriculum will immerse learners from urban schools (Y4–13) in applied sciences across farming, aquaculture, energy, water, and food systems, complementing existing school programmes. Students will engage in authentic, experiential learning by working directly with land, water, animals, crops, and energy systems.

Responsibilities include curriculum leadership, stakeholder engagement, experiential programme development, and ongoing evaluation. The role blends scientific rigour with outdoor education, encouraging inquiry, leadership, teamwork, and stewardship in a caring, values‑based environment.

Requirements

A relevant education degree; experience in curriculum design (Y4–13 preferred); strength in applied science or environmental / agricultural education; expertise in experiential learning; and knowledge of health and safety in outdoor contexts.
