Title : Material Flow Coordinator / Aftermarket Coordinator
Primary Location : NZ - Tokoroa

The Opportunity
Coordinates the flow of materials in the factory, which includes organising material to ensure orders align with demand.
Oversees and ensures that the inventory orders are correct and identifies problems and makes suggestions involving production schedules.
Ensures material logistics follow Deere Inventory management systems to support production principles and schedules.
Coordinates the activities for the tactical execution of a new product that aligns with Waratahs procurement strategy.
Develop new products in coordination with customer base to support aftermarket growth and development.
Implement aftermarket products via Waratah John Deere processes and look to improve and streamline that process over time.
Track and increase revenue and sales on service parts distribution.
What You Will Be Responsible For
Coordinate department schedule performance for procuring, expediting, producing and delivering material on time.
Owner of procurement and deliver on the strategy.
Recommend procedures for specific situations that maintain inventory accuracy and management.
Investigate and find root causes of material shortages and provide recommendations for solutions.
Audit material replenishment cycles and accuracy and create material replenishment plans with assistance.
Count and resolve inventory errors and expedite parts to ensure uninterrupted production outside of cycle counting.
Develop and implement aftermarket products.
Skills and Knowledge
Working knowledge of the appropriate operating and information systems.
Knowledge and application of Supply Management Processes and tools.
Understanding of Deere Production System, Lean Manufacturing, Just-in-Time, Kanban, Demand Flow Technology.
Knowledge of Procurement methods.
Knowledge of problem-solving techniques such as 3-pronged, 5-whys, etc.
Knowledge of machining, assembly, maintenance and product development as they relate to wage positions.
