Mō Te Tūranga - About The Role

As a Senior Design Researcher , you’ll play a pivotal role in shaping the future of our digital experiences. You’ll lead research that uncovers customer behaviours, needs, and motivations, ensuring our digital banking experiences deliver real value for both customers and the business. Banking is changing and we’re changing with it, giving our people great opportunities to try new things, learn and grow. Whatever your role at ANZ, you’ll be building your future, while helping to build ours.

Role Type : 18 Months

Role Location : Wellington or Auckland

Work Hours : 37.5 hours with flexibility available

As a Senior Design Researcher you will :

• Run the entire end-to-end research process - guiding, planning and delivering research that identifies the most important actions to deliver both customer and business value
• Advocate for design thinking by bringing actionable customer insights and data to the decision table
• Identify key themes, trends and best practice, and create design artefacts that tell these stories in an impactful way
• Provide research advice and support to designers and stakeholders, ensuring best practice is applied
• Champion inclusive and ethical design principles across all research activities
• Work collaboratively with partners and stakeholders, bringing them along on the discovery journey
