Our Wellington team are looking for an experienced Quality Assurance Technician to join them.

Responsibilities

Carries out activities on a day-to-day basis in accordance with the Quality Plan, Inspection and Test Plan and Project Plan etc.

Maintain the asphalt data dockets accurately

Record all data such as mix temperatures, mat depth etc and advise Foreman / Supervisor of departures from target.

Participate in the preparation of Contract Quality Plans, ITP and other support documentation in line with contract specifications and requirements.

Promote a safe and environmentally sound working environment and a culture of safe and responsible behaviours and attitudes, ensuring safety.

Important Skills

Experience in a roading maintenance or construction environment

Have demonstrated interest / experience in maintaining accurate records and data management

Be able to conduct basic risk analysis applicable to construction operations

Be a 'Team Player' with excellent communication skills

Have a good understanding of mathematics as applicable to surfacing operations / construction

Have experience loading data accurately and on time as per department specifications

Hold an engineering qualification (desirable but not essential)
