Mo te tuka | The role Join a collaborative academic team where you'll support teaching in core subjects related to Global Value Chains and Trade, while actively working towards a PhD.
You'll help deliver tutorials, field trips, and lectures under supervision, and contribute to research and departmental activities.
Some tasks of the role include : Deliver tutorials and small group teaching at 200 and 300 level Host and teach student groups on farm field trips Assist with lecture delivery under supervision Undertake agreed teaching load aligned with PhD progress Actively study towards PhD or publish post-degree research Support minor administrative tasks within the department Fixed term role from February
Salary range : $71,085 - $75,934 per annum (pro-rata to 0.5 FTE) depending on experience.
Ka tino Pukeka / Wheako | Essential skills / experience for the role You will have : Be actively studying towards a PhD or recently completed one Enthusiasm for teaching and research in a university setting Strong interpersonal skills and ability to work in diverse environments Knowledge of NZ farming systems or similar agricultural contexts Proficiency in Excel for financial analysis and planning Ability to teach across MGMT papers from diploma to final year BCom (Ag / Hort) Alignment with Manaakitaka and Lincoln University values.
