This is a great opportunity to join the Mental Health Foundation (MHF) as our Health Promotion Contract Manager, where you'll combine your passion for mental wellbeing, strategic leadership skills and your knack for project and contract delivery.
Our Programmes and Resources team is a dynamic, purpose driven group working on initiatives that support rangatahi wellbeing, suicide prevention, workplace wellbeing, resource development and more.
Guided by our kaupapa to lift the mental health and wellbeing of all people in Aotearoa, we value innovation, equity, and meaningful outcomes for communities.
The Role
As the Health Promotion Contract Manager, you'll lead a team of multidisciplined specialists and contractors to deliver a range of community and sector-facing programmes.
You'll manage government contracts and MHF-funded projects, ensuring they are delivered on time, within budget, and to a high standard.
You'll work closely with internal teams and external partners to foster strong relationships and ensure all initiatives are culturally responsive and evidence based.

Lead the delivery of government contracts and MHF-funded projects.
Manage project timelines, budgets, reporting, and evaluation.
Lead and empower through supportive, people-centredleadership.
Ensures initiatives to be evidence based culturally responsive, and impactful.
Cultivate strong relationships with internal and external partners.

You will have
At least five years' experience in project and budget management within public health or health promotion.
Proven leadership experience managing teams and delivering results.
Strong knowledge of mental health promotion, wellbeing and public health principles.
Excellent communication and stakeholder engagement skills.
A commitment to TeTiriti o Waitangi and willingness to grow knowledge of Te Ao Maori and Te Reo Maori.

The salary band for this role is $106,985 - $127,472 and will be commensurate with the successful candidate's skills and experience.
