Responsibilities
Partner with senior leaders to shape people strategies and influence the workforce future.
Provide tailored and practical advice across HR domains including employment relations, change management, remuneration, and performance management.
Shape workforce planning and provide strategic insights to inform departmental initiatives.
Support organisational transformation by aligning HR initiatives with business strategy.
Skills & Experience
A tertiary qualification in Human Resources or a related discipline, or equivalent experience demonstrating deep HR knowledge.
Proven experience aligning HR initiatives with business strategy and deep organisational systems knowledge.
Skill in analysing complex issues and developing pragmatic, fit-for-purpose solutions.
Ability to uplift leadership capability through sound advice and coaching.
Experience designing and improving HR systems, policies, and processes.
A sound understanding of the Crown's obligations under Te Tiriti o Waitangi and ability to work effectively in a Maori-Crown context.
Confidence in integrating diverse perspectives and data to support unbiased decision-making.

Compensation
Salary range : $109,160 – $138,333.
Starting salary will be based on relevant skills and experience.
