Position : Full-time, Permanent

Smart Electricals Limited is seeking a skilled and motivated Electrician to join our growing team in Auckland.

Key Responsibilities

Read and interpret electrical, architectural, and mechanical drawings to determine job requirements.

Install, repair, and maintain electrical wiring, switchboards, and control systems.

Connect and test electrical machines, appliances, and equipment.

Diagnose and rectify electrical faults to ensure safe and reliable operation.

Conduct testing and safety checks to comply with New Zealand electrical regulations.

Maintain a safe and clean working environment, ensuring compliance with all health and safety standards.

Skills and Experience Required

Minimum three years of relevant work experience.

Current registration or eligibility for registration with the Electrical Workers Registration Board (EWRB) advantageous

Legally eligible to work in NZ as electrician

Sound knowledge of electrical systems, safety standards, and industry best practices.

Strong problem-solving skills and ability to work independently as well as part of a team.

A current and valid New Zealand driver’s licence.

• Experience on Revenue metering installation would be an advantage

Pay and Conditions

Pay rate : $35.00 – $45.00 per hour (depending on skills and experience).

Hours of work : Minimum of 30 hours per week, full-time.

Roster : Monday to Saturday, with rostered shifts and some weekend work as required.
