Job Details : Location : Auckland

Position : Electrician

Term : Permanent full time position

Wage : $ per hour

Hours of work : Minimum 30 hours per week, Maximum 50 hours per week

Shifted from Monday to Sunday

We prefer the candidate :

At least 3 year relating working experience  or equivalent NZQF Level 4 qualification

Current New Zealand Electrical Practising Licence is required

Excellent communication skills;

Excellent time management skills;

Reliable and able to work under pressure.

Duties and Responsibilities :

Executes the installation, testing, connection, commissioning, upkeep, and adjustment of electrical apparatus, wiring, and control systems.

Interprets blueprints, wiring schematics, and technical specifications to establish operational sequences and procedures.

Measures, plans, and marks reference points to guide installation activities.

Chooses, cuts, and attaches wires and cables to appropriate terminals and connectors.

Utilizes electrical and electronic testing equipment to identify and troubleshoot malfunctions.

Fixes or substitutes impaired wiring and malfunctioning components.

Places and sets up electrical switchboards.

Links electrical systems to power sources.

Checks electrical circuits for continuous flow.

Perform additional tasks as assigned by the company.
