What You’ll Be Doing

Diagnosing, repairing, and maintaining electrical systems across a wide range of vehicles and industrial equipment

Installing and upgrading electrical components to meet safety and performance standards

Carrying out preventative maintenance to keep the fleet reliable and compliant

Troubleshooting complex faults using diagnostic tools and equipment

Working on trucks, trailers, specialised machinery, and some hybrid or alternative-fuel vehicles

Collaborating with the maintenance team to minimise downtime and improve efficiency

Keeping accurate records and ensuring all work follows health and safety regulations

Occasionally providing on-site support to quickly resolve breakdowns

What We’re Looking For

Trade-qualified Auto Electrician (NZQA Level 4 or equivalent)

Hands-on experience with heavy vehicles, plant, or industrial machinery

Sharp diagnostic and fault-finding skills – the go-to problem solver

A true team player with a great attitude and a focus on safety and reliability
