Job descriptionA recognised electrical trade qualification (or overseas equivalent). Eligibility for registration with the Electrical Workers Registration Board (EWRB) in New Zealand. Strong understanding of electrical codes, standards, and safety practices. Ability to work with minimal supervision and manage workload effectively. Good communication and teamwork skills. Relevant trade qualification in electrical work. Must hold (or be eligible to apply for) EWRB registration and practising licence. A valid NZ drivers license and relevant experience is must. Physically fit and able to perform hands-on work.
We are seeking qualified and motivated Electricians to join our team.
You will be responsible for the installation, maintenance, and repair of electrical systems in residential, commercial, and / or industrial settings, ensuring compliance with New Zealand standards and health and safety regulations.Key Responsibilities
- Install, maintain, and repair electrical wiring, equipment, and systems.
- Diagnose and repair faults in electrical equipment and systems.
- Test and commission electrical systems to ensure safe operation.
- Interpret electrical drawings and technical specifications.
- Ensure compliance with relevant electrical regulations and safety standards.
- Work independently and as part of a team to complete projects to a high standard.
