Intermediate Triaxial Laboratory Technician

We are looking for a technician at intermediate level to join our team in Onehunga, Auckland. This full-time permanent role 37.5 hours per week and is a great opportunity for someone looking to further their career in Triaxial Testing.

In this role, you will be expected to perform laboratory testing to a high level of accuracy.

The work will be hands-on and physical, therefore requires a reasonable degree of physical capability. The nature of the work will require early starts, late finishes and occasional overtime.

What You'll Bring :

• Qualifications : Ideally you will have a degree or diploma in Geography, Geology, Earth Sciences, Physical Science, Electronics, Mechanical, Mechatronics, Physics or similar.
• Experience : Typically 2-5 years in a geotechnical or civil engineering laboratory, but we will consider less.
• Capability : Ability to lift items weighing up to 15kg on a regular basis.
• Practical Skills : Experience with basic hand tools, and repair and maintenance of equipment.
