Clinical Trials Laboratory Technician

Overview

Harbour Cancer & Wellness is seeking a detail-oriented and proactive Clinical Trials Laboratory Technician to support our growing clinical trials portfolio. This is a part-time role (0.6 FTE) on Tuesdays, Wednesdays, and Thursdays.

About the Role

As a key member of our research unit, you will be responsible for the accurate collection, processing, tracking, and shipment of biological samples in accordance with sponsor protocols and ICH-GCP standards. You'll collaborate closely with investigators, coordinators, and clinical staff to ensure seamless study execution and compliance.

Key Responsibilities

• Prepare and Quality Check study kits and sample tubes
• Maintain laboratory documentation and trackers
• Monitor inventory and manage shipments
• Liaise with internal teams and external partners (Contract Research Organisations, Clinical Research Associates, labs)
• Support audits and inspections
• Perform basic sample processing and temperature monitoring
• Lead and mentor within the lab team, supporting training and development
