Intermediate Triaxial Laboratory Technician

We are looking for a technician at intermediate level to join our team in Onehunga, Auckland. This full‑time permanent role is 37.5 hours per week and is an excellent opportunity for someone looking to further their career in Triaxial Testing.

As a laboratory technician you will perform laboratory testing to a high level of accuracy. The work is hands‑on and physical, requiring a reasonable degree of physical capability, early starts, late finishes and occasional overtime.

Qualifications

• Degree or diploma in Geography, Geology, Earth Sciences, Physical Science, Electronics, Mechanical, Mechatronics, Physics or similar.
• Typically 2‑5 years in a geotechnical or civil engineering laboratory; less experience may be considered.
• Capability to lift items weighing up to 15 kg on a regular basis.
• Experience with basic hand tools and repair / maintenance of equipment.
