Mō te tūnga | About the role
The purpose of this role is to oversee the overall Oranga Tamariki feedback system, ensuring that it is an accessible, fair, transparent process and people are provided with an outcome in a timely manner. This role is key to driving and leading the change in culture within Oranga Tamariki around receiving and responding to complaints, ensuring that staff see the value in complaints and the organisation can improve policies and practice based on the outcome of complaints.
The role oversees the provision of independent reviews of practice and service in relation to individual complaints or themes and ensures that where, as an organisation, we get something wrong we fix it and learn from it. As such, this position is a central part of the approach to reflective practice in Oranga Tamariki. You will also contribute to a continuous improvement culture that is a central part of our approach to reflective practice.

Oranga Tamariki offer a step-based remuneration package, that offers progression annually for experience through tenure. Annual remuneration for this position starts between $174,846 and $193,569 dependant on experience.
