Exciting 12-Month Fixed-Term Opportunity – Join Our Team in Ōtautahi (Christchurch)!

We’re seeking a motivated and self-managed professional who can hit the ground running in this full-time, on-site role.

As part of the Client Placement Facility (CPF) team, you’ll be responsible for developing and maintaining strong relationships with a designated panel of brokers, with a focus on effectively managing your CPF Commercial portfolio.

Your key responsibilities will include underwriting new and renewal business—predominantely rural risks—within your broker portfolio. Working closely with both the brokers and the CPF team, you’ll help drive profitable growth while aligning with CPF’s broader strategic goals.

This is a fantastic opportunity to contribute meaningfully in a dynamic environment and build on your commercial underwriting experience over a 12-month fixed-term contract.

To be successful in this role you’ll need to have experience in the following areas :

• Suitable experience in commercial insurance underwriting and pricing.
• Experience in building relationships within the insurance broker market.
• Excellent interpersonal, relationship-building, and communication skills.
• Demonstrates strong business acumen.
• Demonstrates high levels of initiative and sound judgement, aside from being a great communicator.
