You will play a vital role in their rehabilitation journey, helping them lead fulfilling and independent lives.You'll be supporting both male and female Tangata, providing high levels of care tailored to individual needs.
Key responsibilities include : Assisting with personal care, hygiene, and daily routinesSupporting with meal preparation and household cleaningAdministering medication as requiredTransporting Tangata to appointments, gym sessions, and community outingsSupporting independence through daily living skills and social engagementThis role operates on a rotating roster, including weekends.Shifts are : Morning : 7 : 00am – 3 : 00pmAfternoon : 3 : 00pm – 11 : 00pmOvernight : 11 : 00pm – 7 : 00am (sleepovers)Ko wai koe | About YouWe're looking for team members who are practical, empathetic, and enjoy connecting with people.Our Tangata live active lifestyles, so energy and adaptability are key.To be successful, you'll ideally bring : A qualification in Health and Wellbeing, Community Support, or related field (preferred but not essential)Confidence and strong communication skillsExperience with personal care (advantageous)A positive, solution-focused attitude and genuine empathyGood physical fitness and staminaRequirements : Full, clean class 1 driver'slicensewith no restrictions ismandatory.You must be residing in and legally entitled to work in New Zealand.You will be required to undergo a Police Vetting check.You will be required to complete a Health Check.Mo matou | About UsTe Whariki Whakaruruhau is the Te Roopu Taurima model of service that recognises the intrinsic value and relationship of Tangata (Care recipient), their whanau (Family) and kaimahi (Staff).
