The Council plans to launch a Request for Tenders in late August, with responses due by late September.

The contract is expected to last three years, with options to extend for an additional two years.We are looking to engage an experienced and reliable cleaning company with local personnel to undertake daily cleaning of facilities including the events centre, main offices, public toilets, yard, office facilities, and wastewater treatment plant.

Additionally, weekly or bi-weekly cleaning of facilities and toilets at Haumanau House and the Courthouse is required.The work involves dusting, vacuuming, sweeping, mopping, cleaning toilets, benches, sinks, emptying rubbish, and checking supplies of paper towels, toilet paper, and soap.

Reporting damages and vandalism will be an important part of this contract to enable quick remediation and maintain our facilities in excellent condition.Interested?
