About the role :

Reporting to the Front Office Manager, the Assistant Front Office Manager is responsible for overseeing the Front Office Agents and, in doing so, ensures a great working culture and client satisfaction of the highest level.

Additionally :

Being responsible for the daily running of the Front Office department in the absence of the Front Office Manager

Working closely with the Front Office Manager on recruitment, mentoring and training the Front Office team

Meeting with and assisting guests, ensuring a unique and memorable experience

Monitoring and responding to guest feedback

Liaising with the accounts team regarding invoices and payments

Ensuring checklists are completed and signed at the end of each shift

Ensuring all departments are kept up to date on reservations and guest requirements.

About you :

The successful candidate must be passionate, well presented, possess strong communication skills (verbal and written) and most importantly, will go above and beyond the call of duty to deliver a true luxury experience for our guests.

Minimum 2 years experience working in a luxury brand

A superior working knowledge of Opera Cloud or other Hospitality Management Systems

Experience managing guest itineraries and complaints

Excellent communication skills (for inter-departmental coordination, ensuring a seamless guest experience)

Experience of training and leading front office teams

A winning smile and the ability to surprise and delight our guests!

This is a unique role and one that differs greatly from a typical hotel or resort Front Office role.

You may be expected to work up to 55 hours per week in our peak season.
