The Role
We're seeking an organised and proactive Theatre Administration Assistant to support the Theatre Services team.
You'll play a key role in ensuring smooth theatre operations, accurate documentation, and effective communication across departments, helping our surgical teams deliver the highest standard of patient care.
Key Responsibilities
Check, input, and track booking forms for surgical lists
Liaise with consultants' personal assistants to confirm accurate bookings
Prepare daily list reminders and maintain the master copy book
Communicate with Reception and Billing to ensure correct invoicing codes
Support the efficient running of the theatre suite through daily admin tasks
Maintain theatre records, documentation systems, and staff contact lists
Collate and assess theatre audit data with required follow-up actions
Coordinate with Pre-Assessment, Billing, and Theatre teams to resolve queries
About You
You're an organised multitasker who thrives in a busy environment and takes pride in accuracy and teamwork.
You'll bring :
Strong administrative experience (healthcare preferred)
Excellent communication and attention to detail
Skilled in Microsoft Office and confident learning new systems (e.g., WebPAS)
Collaborative, professional, and adaptable under pressure
