We are looking for a Manager, Audit to lead, direct and deliver our comprehensive internal audit and claims assurance programmes.
Sitting within the Risk and Assurance team, this role provides independent and objective assurance over the effectiveness of risk management, internal controls, governance, and insurer compliance.
You'll also oversee and support a team of Internal Auditors and Quality Analysts to deliver high-quality audit and assurance outcomes across NHC Toka Tu Ake.
Key Responsibilities include :
Lead the delivery of NHC Toka Tu Ake's audit and claims assurance programmes.
Provide independent assurance over the effectiveness of internal controls, risk management and governance.
Oversee the delivery of quality assurance across the claims function and drive continuous improvement.
Manage relationships with internal stakeholders and private insurers to ensure effective engagement and collaboration.
Represent the Audit and Quality Assurance teams, maintaining high professional standards and credibility across the organisation.

To be successful in this role you will bring :
Relevant tertiary qualification in business or a related field, and membership of a relevant professional body.
At least 10 years' experience leading audits, with strong knowledge of audit methodologies, tools and techniques.
Proven experience producing and overseeing high-quality audit reports and managing audit teams.
Strong analytical and evaluative skills with a pragmatic approach in a dynamic environment.
Excellent communication and relationship management skills, with the ability to influence and collaborate effectively at all levels.
