• About the Role
• As Head of Regional Partnerships, you'll lead strategic engagement and value delivery across the region for our Procurement, Supply Chain and Health Technology Management (PSC&HTM) Directorate. Acting as the key conduit between regional needs and national strategy, you'll ensure services and solutions are aligned, impactful, and deliver exceptional value.With spend ranging from $834m to $1.3b, this role offers the opportunity to influence large scale transformation and deliver tangible benefits to patients, clinicians and communities across across the region.You'll lead a high performing team, build strong relationships with senior stakeholders, and champion initiatives that enhance clinical outcomes, operational efficiencies and system wide innovation.

• The PSC&HTM team at Health New Zealand | Te Whatu Ora are a national function with a vast and complex scope. They play a critical role in ensuring the availability, safety, and efficiency of clinical and non-clinical goods and services across the health system.

• You will bring :
• Strategic leadership across procurement, supply chain, and health technology functions.
• Ability to build and maintain strong partnerships with clinical, operational, and executive stakeholders.
• Expertise in clinical product management, procurement, and commercial strategy.
• Experience in leading change and implementing integrated systems.
• Capability to manage risk, optimise working capital, and deliver financial benefits.
• Strong advocacy for regional needs within national forums and decision making.
• Experience working in multicultural and diverse environments, with a strong understanding of Te Tiriti o Waitangi and Pae Ora (Healthy Futures) Act 2022
