Head Of Technology Delivery

Based in Wellington or Auckland, this role oversees the end‑to‑end delivery of technology programmes, projects, and initiatives across the bank.

You will lead a high‑performing guild of delivery managers, scrum masters, project managers, and partners to ensure outcomes are aligned with business objectives, delivered on time, within budget, and to quality standards. You will also own overall technology delivery governance across the portfolio and embed continuous delivery improvement through measurement, insights and evolving the delivery model.

Key Responsibilities

• Take a position of leadership and expertise as BNZ continues to evolve its delivery model.
• Lead and manage the technology delivery function across enterprise‑wide programmes and projects.
• Ensure delivery practices follow pragmatic, best‑in‑class methodologies.
• Ensure consistency and standards are adopted across the delivery lifecycle and ways of working.
• Oversee portfolio and programme governance, risk, and compliance in line with regulatory and internal standards.
• Collaborate with executive stakeholders to align delivery priorities with strategic goals.
