Some people live in their own homes and receive specific support to assist with their needs or to help them pursue their interests. The focus of service development is on facilitating a range of options to best suit the aspirations of people who require some assistance to live their lives.

Job Description

Your Purpose

In this pivotal leadership role, you will lead, coach, and inspire a team of Community Facilitators who work alongside our disabled partners to provide individualised, innovative, and person-centered support. You will shape the team culture, ensure service quality, drive performance, and uphold the principles of Enabling Good Lives.

As a Leader in our Partnerships and Enablement team, you will play a vital role in empowering people to live their best lives. This is a hands-on leadership position where you will :

• Lead & Develop Teams : Guide and inspire a team of up to 30, fostering growth, accountability, and collaboration. Promote open communication, celebrate successes, and lead with integrity and compassion.
• Manage & Support Staff : Oversee day-to-day operations, recruit and onboard new team members, and provide regular coaching and performance feedback to build capability and confidence.
• Ensure Service Quality : Monitor wellbeing, maintain compliance with standards and regulations, and address any service delivery concerns promptly.
• Plan Strategically : Develop rosters, schedules, and resource plans to ensure consistent, timely support. Manage team and house budgets responsibly.
• Promote Safety : Champion health, wellbeing, and safety for both team members and the people we support.
• Responsive Leadership : Provide timely leadership support to ensure continuity of care and effective decision-making when needed.
• Build Relationships : Develop strong, respectful relationships with disabled partners, their whānau / families, internal teams, and external stakeholder
