INTERMEDIATE ARCHITECTURAL TECHNICIAN

Redpath Partners have partnered with an architecture practice based in Christchurch who are a well established and design focused entity with a proven track record. They specialise in bespoke residential and multi units.

Role

• Prepare detailed technical drawings and documentation for building consent and construction
• Translate design concepts into accurate, buildable solutions
• Ensure compliance with New Zealand Building Code, planning rules, and local regulations
• Produce working drawings including plans, sections, elevations, details, and schedules
• Coordinate with consultants (engineers, planners, contractors) to integrate technical input
• Be able to work on multi projects at one time

Requirements

• 3 years as an Architectural Technician
• Strong understanding of construction methods, materials, 3D renders, and building codes
• Residential experience is a must
• Proficient in Revit
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively with clients, colleagues, and contractors
