About the Opportunity

Visy Board NZ is seeking a Supervisor – Afternoon Shift to lead and support teams at our Hamilton site.

In this hands-on leadership role, you'll be responsible for driving safety, quality, and productivity outcomes across the shift, ensuring our people, systems, and processes are performing at their best.

Reporting to the Shift Manager, you'll coach, support, and develop your team while maintaining compliance with health, safety, and quality standards.

You'll also play a key role in continuous improvement and delivering outcomes that support customer and business needs.

Key Responsibilities

Ensure safe systems of work are followed across all operations.

Manage team performance to achieve production and DIFOT targets.

Oversee training, competency, and development of team members.

Support quality control, audits, and corrective actions where required.

Drive continuous improvement initiatives to improve efficiency and reduce waste.

What You Will Bring

Previous operations supervisory experience, ideally within manufacturing.

Strong understanding of WHS and quality systems.

Proven ability to influence, coach, and engage teams.

Excellent problem-solving, communication, and organisational skills.

Experience in corrugated cardboard, print, or high-volume manufacturing is desirable.
