Job descriptionleadership and escalation point for a global virtual team, driving both incident management and service improvement across a complex, fast-paced FinTech environment. What You'll Be Doing : Lead and coordinate a virtual team of analysts , ensuring smooth operation of FNZ's production environments. Own end-to-end incident and problem management , ensuring rapid resolution and clear communication to stakeholders. Drive root cause analysis and implement systematic improvements to prevent recurrence of critical issues. Oversee the transition of projects into production , ensuring readiness from both technical and operational standpoints. Provide technical leadership across SQL, system monitoring, and performance tuning. Manage and improve production processes to meet SLAs, KPIs , and internal quality benchmarks. Support application enhancements, ensuring compliance with regulatory, security, and operational standards. Coach and mentor team members, while influencing best practices and standards across the wider team. What You Bring to the Table : A degree in Commerce, IT, Engineering, or a related discipline — or equivalent hands-on experience. Solid SQL skills and an analytical mindset with a detail-first approach to problem solving. Proven experience in production or application support within complex, high-availability environments. A strong grasp of ITIL processes (incident, problem, change, release). The ability to lead across virtual teams and influence cross-functional stakeholders. Experience in financial services or an understanding of financial markets / products is a strong plus. High levels of ownership, resilience under pressure, and commitment to continuous improvement.
