Commercial Business Partner – Sales and Marketing
Reporting to our Commercial Manager, you will partner with Sales and Marketing Directors and senior leaders to provide comprehensive commercial insights and advice across both departments.
You will develop strategies and insights to support growth initiatives, and guide the implementation and tracking of sales and marketing campaigns while overseeing commercial business cases.
Key Responsibilities
Provide commercial expertise, advice and support to Sales and Marketing Directors as they generate strategy and execute tactics.
Guide sales target development, incentives, resourcing and performance reporting.
Use external sources to add market intelligence and insight into market and performance discussions.
Oversee and set standards that support an efficient and effective business case review process.
Champion sales gap closing initiatives and bring ideas to the Integrated Business Planning (IBP) process.
Collaborate with Sales and Marketing teams to understand and optimise channel performance.
Pro-actively review supported business units and recommend improvements for profit enhancement and performance optimisation.
What you will bring
Minimum 7 years of relevant commercial experience, preferably within a medium to large multinational organisation.
Broad commercial knowledge and strategic thinking with demonstrated pragmatic input across all business areas.
Experience in contracts, negotiations and presenting financial information to business stakeholders.
Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
