OverviewPoolburn School is a small school in the heart of the Ida Valley, Central Otago.

We currently have a roll of 42 children.

In 2026 we are offering a permanent full time teaching opportunity for an experienced New Zealand registered teacher.English, Health and physical education, Learning languages, Mathematics and statistics, Science, Social sciences, Technology, Te reo Maori, The artsPoolburn School has a very clear vision of 'Expanding Horizons' and we strongly believe in creating amazing opportunities for learning and explicit classroom teaching.
