Subjects : English, Health and physical education, Learning languages, Mathematics and statistics, Science, Social sciences, Technology, Te reo Māori, The arts

We are looking for an amazing teacher to join our staff at St Joseph’s Primary School in Queenstown, teaching in our senior team (Y4-8). Situated in stunning Queenstown, our vision is “Creating confident learners who, like Jesus, make a positive difference”. Come and join us at the small school with a big heart.

The successful applicant will be reflective, innovative, enthusiastic, and have a willingness to work collaboratively. They will have the ability to form strong relationships and have a desire to make learning engaging and enjoyable for our children. Strengths in Structured Literacy and Maths required. Strength in Te Reo Māori and Kapa Haka as well as Health and Physical Education desirable.

The successful applicant will accept the condition to support, uphold and be positively involved in the special Catholic character of the school. This is not a ‘tagged’ position - you do not need to be Catholic to be appointed to this role.
