INDUSTRIAL ELECTRICIANS WANTED – KAITAIA, NEW ZEALAND
We are seeking a skilled and qualified Industrial Electrician to join our team in Kaitaia, the gateway to New Zealand’s Far North. Juken New Zealand Ltd (JNL) is a leading forest and wood products company, supplying local and international timber markets.
In Kaitaia, we operate two mills that process Radiata Pine, producing reconstituted wood panels and peeled, dried veneer for a wide range of applications.

Key responsibilities
Calibrations of electrical systems and equipmentCarrying out preventative maintenance on electrical equipmentProvide front-line support to Production and Mechanical departmentsAttend breakdownsOverhaul electrical equipment, including motors and motor controlsDiagnose electrical controlsTroubleshoot electrical systemsInstallations (COC & ESC)Interrogate PLC systems to diagnose problemsWhat we’re looking for
Full NZ Electrical Registration (EWRB)Experience in electrical maintenance of industrial plants is advantageousExperience with 3-phase motors, motor protection, motor control, industrial sensors and a wide range of industrial electrical and control equipment is advantageousAdvantageous
Experience with Variable Speed Drives, PLC control, basic instrumentation, encoders, etc.Experience in CMMS (Computer Maintenance Management Systems)Lifestyle in Kaitaia
