Responsibilities
Due to several internal promotions for a fixed-term, we are seeking 1-2 exceptional learning coaches (teachers) for these key leadership and curriculum implementation support roles within the school. CLAs will likely work closely with Kāinga Designers and Learning Designers (middle leaders) and Leaders of Learning (senior leaders) to support the implementation of aspects of our local curriculum, like an assistant head of department would in typical secondary settings.
Specific duties will be negotiated with the successfully appointed candidates but will likely include a combination of administrative and / or leadership support functions as agreed between the successful candidates and wider middle and senior leadership teams. We seek to appoint experienced teachers with demonstrated expertise in collaborative practices (team planning / teaching / delivery) for these leadership support and development roles within the school.
State your passions and strengths. Primary or secondary trained practitioners and PCTs are always welcome. Take the opportunity to join an energetic, incredible team of staff and over 1500 learners across Y7–10.
Strengths in any combination of the following learning areas OR skill-sets may be an advantage but should not exclude any applicant with any other strengths or expertise from applying :
