With leadership responsibility for at least one team member, you'll ensure workload is prioritised effectively to deliver an exceptional, student-centred service.

You're an empathetic, student-focused professional who thrives on helping others succeed.

With a background in student services, customer service, or a similar support role, you're confident navigating data systems and using insights to guide decisions.

You're highly organised, digitally savvy, and skilled at managing competing priorities in a dynamic environment.

Collaborative and culturally aware, you build strong relationships and communicate with warmth and clarity.

You're adaptable, proactive, and driven to improve systems and processes that enhance the student experience.

Above all, you bring a genuine commitment to equity, inclusion, and the University's partnership with Maori under Te Tiriti o Waitangi.

Don't meet every single requirement?

Research shows that some people are less likely to apply for jobs unless they meet every qualification.

At The University of Waikato, we're committed to creating a diverse, inclusive, and genuine workplace.

So, if you're excited about this role but your experience doesn't perfectly match every listed qualification, we still encourage you to apply.

You might be just the right person for this or another opportunity on our team.

We want you to be part of our success!
