OverviewWe're on the lookout for someone who loves connecting with people and wants to make a real difference through cycling education.
In this role, you'll assist with the delivery of our cycling education programmes in schools and community to encourage, build confidence and skills in cycle safety.
Key ResponsibilitiesAssist the coordination of cycling opportunities in Hamilton.Collaborate with internal and external stakeholders to promote cycling in Hamilton.Assist with reports highlighting KPIs about the cycling services that are delivered.Coordinate the maintenance and management of resources and equipment ensuring items are safe and suitable to use.Actively participate, comply and engage in all health and safety activities, policies, and practices including Civil Defence.
Qualifications & ExperienceAt least 5 years' experience in cycling education.Highly developed interpersonal and communication skills with the ability to work effectively with a diverse range of people.Experience in facilitating, educating and presenting to groups confidently.Knowledge of the cycle network around Hamilton City.Experience in teaching cycle skills to children or adults.A strong desire to get more people cycling through setting up opportunities for cycling groups and implementing initiatives that promote cycling to the wider community.A desire to become a qualified Cycle Skills Instructor.Ability to operate independently, anticipate requirements and monitor workload.Advanced written communication and presentation skills.

SalaryCirca $74k - $77k dependent on skills and experience.
