Social Media & Engagement Coordinator

What You\'ll Be Doing
Coordinate and create engaging organic social media
content that reflects our brand and connects with our audience.
Manage online communities
— responding promptly and positively to queries, striking the right tone in comments, and navigating the nuances of content moderation.
Support and execute social media campaigns
for donor acquisition, retention, and new site launches.
Monitor, report, and optimise social media performance
using analytics and insights.
Collaborate with internal teams and external partners
to deliver cohesive messaging and support organisational initiatives.
What You Bring
A qualification in Communications, Marketing, Digital / Social Media, Journalism, or a related field.
2+ years\' experience creating and managing social content across multiple platforms (Instagram, TikTok, LinkedIn, Facebook, etc.), which ideally includes experience creating and editing short-form vertical video content.
Strong understanding of digital communication principles, content strategy, and user engagement.
Familiarity with digital marketing tools and platforms (e.g., Meta Business Suite, Google Analytics, Hootsuite, email marketing).
Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with a knack for storytelling.
Experience in community management and engaging with audiences online.
Collaborative, adaptable, and proactive mindset.
Commitment to upholding organisational values, compliance, and continuous improvement.
A portfolio of work that showcases your creative digital storytelling ideas and execution.
Ideally you will also bring experience creating social media content for government or NGOs
