Painter

We are currently looking to fill multiple Painting positions,and are requesting all painters in the Auckland area to apply.Job type : Full time / Permanent : 30 hours Minimum per week.

About the role :

As a Painter you will be responsible for applying paint, vanish and other finishes to a variety of surfaces, ensuring a high quality, aesthetically pleasing result.

You will work with a wide range of projects and will collaboratively work within ateam.

Painter's responsibilities and duties :

• Erecting scaffolding or set up ladder to perform tasks above ground level.
• Maintaining a tidy and professional work area and cleaning equipment
• Interacting with other professional tradespeople and our clients.
• Preparing surfaces by removing old paint and wallpaper, fixing woodwork, filling holes and cracks, and smoothing and sealing surfaces
• Selecting and preparing paints to required colours by mixing portions of pigment, oil, and thinning and drying additives
• Applying paints, varnishes and stains to surfaces using brushes, rollers and sprays
• Hanging wallpaper, matching patterns and trimming edges
• May repair windows and replace glass in wooden and metal frames
