Painter

We are currently looking to fill multiple Painting positions , and are requesting all painters in the Auckland area to apply.

Job type : Full time / Permanent : 30 hours Minimum per week.

About the role :

As a Painter you will be respon sible for apply ing paint, vanish and other finishes to a variety of surfaces , ensuring a high quality, aesthetically pleasing result. You will work with a wide range of projects and will collaboratively work within a team .

Painter' s responsibilities and duties :

• Erecting scaffolding or set up ladder to perform tasks above ground level.
• Maintaining a tidy and professional work area and cleaning equipment
• Interacting with other professional tradespeople and our clients.
• P reparing surfaces by removing old paint and wallpaper, fixing woodwork, filling holes and cracks, and smoothing and sealing surfaces
• S electing and preparing paints to required colours by mixing portions of pigment, oil, and thinning and drying additives
• A pplying paints, varnishes and stains to surfaces using brushes, rollers and sprays
• H anging wallpaper, matching patterns and trimming edges
• M ay repair windows and replace glass in wooden and metal frames

We are looking for candidates with the preferred attributes :

Minimum pay rate per hour will be $ 30.00 and the employer is willing to g o up to $ 35.00 per hour based on experience.
