Painting Labourer

Our construction company is currently seeking reliable and full-time Painting Labourers to join our team. The position will start from 30 hours per week, with potential for more working hours. In this role, you will be responsible for performing a wide range of tasks, including :

• Follow instructions and work under the supervision of painters, site supervisors, and other senior staff.
• Assist painters and other tradespeople with daily painting and preparation tasks as required.
• Prepare and organize materials, ensuring that paint, brushes, rollers, fittings, adhesives, and nails are of the correct type and size for each job.
• Transport and deliver construction materials, tools, and equipment safely and on time to designated job sites.
• Monitor and maintain inventory of painting materials, tools, and supplies, and promptly report shortages or damage to supervisors.
• Keep the work area clean and hazard-free by removing debris, waste materials, and potential safety risks from the site.
• Perform basic surface preparation such as sanding, masking, or cleaning to support efficient painting operations.
• Comply with all health and safety procedures, including the proper use of personal protective equipment (PPE).
