Painter

As a painter you will be responsible for painting to a high level on a variety of surfaces and have an extensive knowledge of the skill and products and are happy to work in a team environment and liaise with clients in a professional manner.

You will be required to :

Preparing surfaces to a high level for best finish.

Maintaining a tidy and professional work area and equipment.

Application of paints, stains etc to surfaces using brush, rollers or sprayer.

Hanging wallpaper to high standard

Selecting and preparing paints to required colours by mixing to colour match

Erecting scaffold or set up ladders where necessary

Interacting with other tradespeople and our clients in a professional manner

We are looking for candidates that are able to work flexible schedule if needed. Including weekend and public holidays if required.

Positive attitude with team and clients and be able to cope under pressure.

High level of communication skills and decision making and handling issues with confidence.

3 years relevant experience / or relevant level 4 qualifications or higher preferred.

To be considered for this role you must be in NZ and either be a NZ resident, citizern or have a legal right to work in NZ full time.
