We’re looking for an energetic, hands-on Duty Manager to join our team and help lead the day-to-day operations of our busy restaurant and bar. This role is perfect for someone who thrives in a fast-paced hospitality environment, has strong leadership skills, and is passionate about delivering an exceptional guest experience.
Key Responsibilities :
Oversee daily service operations across the restaurant and bar
Lead, motivate, and support front-of-house staff during shifts
Provide outstanding customer service and handle guest enquiries or complaints
Ensure all areas are clean, organized, and running efficiently
Manage opening and closing procedures, including cash handling and reporting
Maintain compliance with licensing laws, health & safety, and food safety standards
Coordinate with kitchen and bar team to ensure smooth service flow
Train new team members and support ongoing staff development
Assist with stock control, ordering, and cellar management
Step into any operational role as needed to keep service running smoothly
About You :
Previous experience in a supervisory or duty manager role in hospitality
A current Duty Manager’s Certificate (or ability to obtain one)
Strong communication and leadership skills
Calm and confident in managing busy service periods
Reliable, organised, and proactive
Passionate about hospitality and creating memorable experiences for guests
Able to work evenings, weekends, and public holidays as required
