We're on the hunt for a Cluster Sales Manager to lead proactive sales efforts across two iconic properties :
Rydges Auckland
– a vibrant CBD hotel in the heart of the action, perfect for conferences, corporate stays, and city events.
Rydges Formosa Golf Resort
– a breathtaking coastal retreat ideal for weddings, special events, and unique getaways.
This is a hands-on, people-facing role where no two days are the same.
You'll be out in the market, meeting clients, hosting property inspections, and crafting unforgettable event experiences.
Your mission?
Drive revenue, grow our client base, and bring fresh energy to our sales strategy.
Key Responsibilities :
Proactively identify, pursue, and convert new corporate business opportunities across both properties (Conferences & Events).
Build and maintain strong relationships with corporate clients, event planners, and key accounts.
Lead the sales process from initial enquiry through to proposal, negotiation, and conversion.
Collaborate with marketing and operations to deliver seamless, high-impact client experiences.
Represent the hotels at networking events, site inspections, and industry functions to drive visibility and leads.
Who We're Looking For :
A confident sales professional with a proven track record in business development and relationship management within the B2B space (Essential).
Previous experience in conference, event, or group sales within a hotel or resort environment would be highly regarded, with the ability to manage the full sales process from enquiry through to conversion.
Someone who thrives in a fast-paced, client-facing environment and loves being out in the market.
A strategic thinker who can identify growth opportunities and act on them with urgency.
A natural communicator who builds trust and rapport with ease.
A results-driven professional who is passionate about hospitality and delivering value to clients.
