What will I be doing?

• Ensure the Housekeeping Manager is kept fully aware of all relevant feedback from both guests and other departments.
• Assist other departments with activities as appropriate and directed by the Housekeeping Manager.
• Attend and participate in regular communication meetings and nominated training sessions.
• Have a positive impact, taking personal responsibility and initiative to resolve issues, always clearly communicating with both guests and team members.
• Maintain high team focus by showing cooperation and support to colleagues in the pursuit of team goals.
• Contribute ideas and suggestions to enhance operational / environmental procedures in the hotel.
• Use initiatives in assisting other team members while business demand is low, proactively adding value to the hotel’s bottom line.
• Build a strong rapport with team members, helping to improve the synergy in the department as well as in the hotel.
• Work as and enjoy being part of a team, pulling together to provide excellent service.
• Be fully aware of the hotel’s health and safety and fire regulations, and uphold them according to procedures.
• Be fully conversant with the hotel emergency and evacuation procedures.
